While most people interpret fire to mean the hot flame we enjoy in our fireplace or barbecue pit, musicians use it to convey power, passion, and strength.

Not much can be said about Johnny Cash’s song “Ring of Fire” that hasn’t been said by anyone before. A classic song from one of folk music’s most beloved singers, “Ring of Fire” describes desire and passion like never before.
Based on a poem titled Lover’s Ring of Fire, the song was released in 1963. Add some Johnny Cash to your life and check out “Ring of Fire”. You will just love the catchy tune and that country voice we all know and love.
6. Firestarter by The Prodigy
Turning to some metal now, “Firestarter” is the ultimate revenge song that sees Keith Flint make his vocal debut. Formerly a drummer, Flint wrote the song as a response to the many things people label musicians, ultimately giving them the finger for their false perceptions.
While The Prodigy is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, the song has a great beat to it. “Firestarter” was released in 1997 on the album The Fat of the Land. Give it a listen and see what you think.

It is impossible for singer P!nk to release a bad song. And the 2016 release of her hit song “Just Like Fire” only serves to confirm this statement even more.

9. Eternal Flame by The Bangles
All-girl group, The Bangles, delighted fans with the release of their love ballad “Eternal Flame” in 1988. Recorded for the album Everything, the song tells of the kind of love that will last forever, no matter what test you may put it through.
Almost everyone goes through life looking for that someone special, and “Eternal Flame” is the reminder we all need to never give up on that hope. Play this for your lover as you dance the night away.
10. Through the Fire by Chaka Khan
1984 was a great year for Chaka Khan and saw the release of her song “Through The Fire.” In another great love song, Khan, too, wants to see if her love will survive the test of time and hardship.
Chaka Khan is often referred to as the Queen of Soul, and listening to “Through the Fire,” it is easy to see why. The song was recorded for the album I Feel For You and stayed at the top of many music charts for weeks after its release.
